It is well worth taking 20 minutes out of your day to watch this video.
It talks about the "single story" where in many ways we are fed stereotypical stories about different types of people / countries etc. They often point out differences rather than similarities.

I am now so much more aware of how I have often bought into these - and am determined to recognise and remedy this.
